Bio

Ellen Evans (b.1990, UK) is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened at international festivals including Sundance and SXSW, and on public broadcast channels including PBS and the BBC.

Ellen completed her most recent film, MOTHERLAND as part of The Uncertain Kingdom anthology. The film was released in June 2020 to positive reviews from The Financial Times, The Evening Standard and The Guardian. MOTHERLAND is available now on BFI Player, Curzon Home Cinema and Amazon Prime.

Ellen is a Lecturer on the MA Cinematic and MFA Creative Documentary by Practice at University College London.
